Hedgelite Ltd is a privately owned company in London, UK. We provide
cutting-edge IT consultancy and services to world top investment
banks, trading firms and hedge funds. Our major clients include Credit
Suisse and Barcaly Capital. We have been building the most advanced
equity exotic trading systems in the financial industry. These systems
run on thousands of dual-core Opteron/Xeon servers and a variety of OS
platforms such as Windows, Solaris and Linux.
Hedgelite Ltd is expanding into China mainland. We have established
our R&D office in Shanghai and are looking for qualified technical
people to work with us on various highly confidential and innovative
IT projects. We have the following requirement for software
developers:
(1) Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
(2) Highly affluent in English reading and writing. All development
work is done in a 100% English environment. If you start to have
headache after reading English for an hour, you don't need to read
further.
(3) Highly proficient and experienced in using Linux as a development
platform. If you have never installed Linux on a PC, have never done
any programming in Linux or have no idea how to program without using
IDE that requires frequent mouse clicks, you don't need to read
further.
(4) Highly proficient and experienced in at least one programming
language, such as C, C++, Java, Javascript and Python. If you are only
experienced in non-programming languages such as HTML and XML, you
don't need to read further.
(5) Very very very fast learner. We expect you to learn a whole new
programming language in 3 days (one week at most). We expect you to
figure out anything you don't understand mostly independently by using
Google etc.
